About me
This section is probably more personal than it should be, but anyway
Hi, I'm Zdenek
I'm 23, from the beautiful nature of the Czech Republic. I break computer systems for a living and then help people understand how to put them back together again, a bit safer than before.
I like solving problems without drama (similar to my girlfriend, but she needs the drama). I also like computers, mountains, and people who don't take themselves too seriously.
How I work
I believe in learning by doing, not reading manuals, failing continuosly all the way to the success.
- Evidence over fear and cool buzzwords
- Script first, repeat later
- Clear notes, calm communication, and no drama
Path so far
- Now
- Penetration tester for critical infra & enterprise networks. Building internal tooling, learning new things every week, still curious every day.
- Earlier
- CTFs, security labs, breaking my own setups, endless notes, and learning how to write reports humans can actually read.
- Way back
- Grew up outdoors. Bikes, forests, messing with tech and taking things apart (success rate of re-assembly: let's say improving).
Outside work
Nature is where my brain resets. I spend time in forests, usually with a camera, especially during deer rut season. It's patience training disguised as photography.
I also like motorcycles, mountains, coffee, and the feeling of leaving the city behind.
